General instructions for abstracts submission:
• The submission period is open from September 6 until December 7, 2026
• In order to submit an abstract it is necessary to be registered on the UPV Open Congress System. If no registration was ever made for previous UPV scientific journals or events: UPV OCS REGISTER HERE [Link to be made available soon.]
• Abstracts must be submitted online: ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION HERE [Link to be made available soon.]
• Abstracts must be submitted in English, must include the tittle and the main body, with an extension between 150 and 300 words.
• The abstract format is free (there is not “template” for abstracts), just follow the instructions of the sending platform.
• The Organizing Committee will review the adequacy of the abstract to the scope of the congress in order to accept the communication. Proposals will be classified according to the topics proposed in the congress.
General instructions for papers/ posters submission:
• The acceptance of abstracts will be communcated early 2027

• Full papers must be written in English and follow the instructions indicated in the template file, available in Microsoft Word format. Full papers length must be between 2,500 and 3,500 words, including abstract, references, figures and captions, and a maximum paper length of 8 pages.
• Only original proposals describing previously unpublished research, not currently under review by another conference or journal, can be submitted.
• Authors will indicate the thematic area for the contribution. All papers will be reviewed and classified by the Organizing Committee in accordance with the scope of the congress and its thematic areas and will be blind peer reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
• Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings.
General instructions for Oral Presentations & Posters:
• A selection of papers from those accepted, will be invited to be presented in the corresponding thematic session. Other papers accepted but not selected for oral presentation will be invited to contribute to the poster session.
• Oral presentations will be schedulled in the corresponding thematic session and will have a limited time of 5 minnutes. Authors can use this TemplateForOralPresentations.pptx
• Poster will be schedulled in the corresponding poster session. Authors can use this TemplateForPosterPresentations. The poster will be printed by authors and displayed on the posters' hall in advanced.
Other important information:
• Submissions imply the willingness of at least one author per paper to attend the conference, and present the paper. Accepted papers must be presented in-person (virtual or remote presentations are not considered).
• Authors who are going to present their contribution must register and pay the conference fee. Please note that each co-author who plans to attend must also register and pay the conference fee.
• For each contribution published in the proceedings book, at least one author must be registered to the congress. Each registration entitles the author to publish one contribution. In the case of authors with multiple co-authored contributions, a different person must be registered for each paper.
• Selected contributions to the conference will be invited to publish a full paper (extended version) in some of the Research Journals edited by professors at ETSA-UPV: EGA: Expresión Gráfica Arquitectónica; Loggia, Arquitectura y Restauración; En Blanco: Revista de Arquitectura; VLC arquitectura.Research Journal; LC: Revue de recherches sur Le Corbusier; Anuari d’Arquitectura i Societat.
